Calculations For Large-Format Print... the easy way

The pricing of products such as Roller Banners are simple as these are priced per item. However, it can be a little tricky to work out the prices of print and finish products such as banners.

All of our print and finish products are priced per square metre (sqm or m²).

How To Calculate square meterage - arrrgh maths

Using a banner as an example, to work out the surface area of a banner (it’s square metreage) it is a simple calculation of the banner’s width (in metres) multiplied by it’s height (in metres).

For example, when calculating 3m × 2m banner:

3 × 2 = 6

So a 3m × 2m banner is 6m² and at £10.50 per m²…

6 × 10.50 = 63

..the banner would then cost £63.00.
