Before you order
Order with a flag
Bases are ordered alongside a flag rather than on their own. Adding a base to a flag you’ve already bought from us? Contact us with the original flag order number and we’ll sort it.
Double-sided flags
Bases aren’t rated for the extra weight of a double-sided flag, so they aren’t covered by warranty when used with one. Choose a heavier base and site it carefully.
Water or sand
Parasol bases fill with either water or sand. In freezing conditions, add salt to the water so it can’t freeze and crack the base.
Match base to flag size
Bigger flags need heavier bases. Check the flag-size details before ordering — an under-sized base won’t hold a large flag safely in wind.
